Briarlea is one of the longest operating care homes in Evesham. There’s been a care home on the site of this Edwardian country house for over 30 years. We’ve owned Briarlea for nearly two thirds of that time. And since 2003, we’ve worked hard to modernise our home, so that it caters to the tastes and needs of our residents.
Over the past two decades, we’ve added a double-storey extension to the east wing of our property, as well as 5 gorgeous ground-level rooms that boast private wet rooms. But whilst we’ve built on Briarlea so we can welcome more people into our home, we’ve made sure to limit our size, so that we still provide care on a small scale. As it’s this environment that helps us to provide the right person-centred care for you and your loved ones – care which champions our residents as the fabulous individuals they are.
This year, we’ve embarked on a new tranche of renovations, starting with Briarlea’s Library. The Library is a focal point at the home, offering quiet nooks for residents to relax with a good book, while also hosting visits from friends, families and visiting professionals. Works are due to finish in the Autumn, and will see Briarlea’s library transform into a stylish oasis that blends the modern with the traditional. Light Scandinavian coffee tables and minimalist portraits will be set against ornate emerald Chesterfields and a grand period fireplace.
We can’t wait for the finished design, which will herald the start of more beautification projects around Briarlea as we near our twenty-year anniversary. As Briarlea’s residents deserve the very best.
