Earlier this month, we enjoyed a great trip out to Ellenden Farm, where our service user Jim was introduced to the delightful Dotty – one of Ellenden’s exceedingly cuddly lambs!
After the winter spent in cosy coffee shops and other inside venues, it felt fab to enjoy the fresh outdoors and embrace all the beauty that nature offers here in Evesham. Moreover for Jim, who is from a farming background, the visit was a great opportunity to reconnect with his passion for farming. We enjoyed learning from Jim’s farming wisdom and his memories of rural life.
After petting Dotty and admiring the horses, we browsed Ellenden’s lovely farm shop before returning home to Briarlea. Thank you very much to Ellenden Farm for helping fulfil one of Jim’s bucket-list trips and we look forward to coming back again soon.
