There are many things which make Briarlea special.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To start with, we\u2019re a small care home. We cater to a maximum of 28 individuals in comfortable, cosy surroundings. Recently refurbished, Briarlea is designed around the people we care for, evoking all the comforts of your home.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s more, being a small residential home, our policy is never to use agency staff. So you or your family member is always cared for by a familiar face who is trained to support each residents\u2019 particular needs. Our care home is family-run, and we like to make sure our residents know our staff and that they\u2019re a valued part of our care home family.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Briarlea’s location is also part of its charm. Our care home is situated in the beautiful vale of Evesham. With a bus stop on our doorstep, we\u2019re only a 5 minute drive from Evesham town centre – yet still secluded amongst Briarlea\u2019s gardens and local farmland. Many of our bedrooms have fabulous country views.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

At Briarlea, we believe that life is for living. And we work hard to enshrine this motto into the day-to-day lives of all our residents who call Briarlea home.<\/p>\n

Our eclectic mix of activities ensure that there\u2019s lots for everyone to get stuck into.<\/p>\n

We plan regular film afternoons (showing both new releases and the classics), enjoy exercise classes, and host frequent visits from great local singers, who sing all our old favourites. We have a longstanding book club and a cookery group that meets every fortnight.<\/p>\n

If you enjoy trips out, we also plan excursions for coffee, shopping and even outings to the beach and local safari park!<\/p>\n

Briarlea in the Local Community<\/h2>\n

Briarlea sits between Aldington and Badsey. It\u2019s a beautiful, countryside setting with a friendly village community that cares for each other. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Evesham\u2019s finest farmland borders either side of the property. While our own\u00a0expansive gardens\u00a0feature\u00a0an orchard of ripe plum trees and blackberry bushes.<\/p>\n

In the summer, the fruits we harvest make some fabulous crumbles for our residents. As expected with village life, there\u2019s a great sense of community within the home too.<\/span><\/p>\n

Carers all live within a stone\u2019s throw away from Briarlea\u00a0and know each resident inside out. On any given day, you can count on staff coming into the home to share the latest local news with residents over breakfast. This makes our residents feel quite rightly that they remain at\u00a0the heart of their community.<\/p>\n

Where possible, we opt for\u00a0local products and services too. Our eggs and potatoes hail from local farms, meats are bought in Evesham and the services we use like chiropodists, singers and tree surgeons all come from nearby.<\/p>\n

Many of our residents have lived in the area for the best part of their lives. We want to make sure they remain connected to their community as much as they can.<\/p>\n

Family is of course a big part of community, so we encourage the loved ones of residents to get involved at Briarlea as much as they like.\u00a0Visits are welcome at any time\u00a0of day at the care home. You can even join us for tea or an evening meal.<\/span><\/p>\n
